CBS Says Goodbye to Les Moonves at a Potential Cost of $20M

Les Moonves is leaving his position as Chairman and CEO of CBS, and he and/or CBS (depending on the outcome of an internal CBS investigation) will donate $20M to the #MeToo movement. Whether Moonves of CBS or a combination thereof is footing the bill for this is yet to be determined, but there is little doubt the network will pay a serious financial price for keeping him in power despite what Moonves calls “untrue allegations from decades ago.” Should CBS have investigated these complaints sooner?
